1958 Giacomo Bulleri opened his first place in Milan after working several of years for various restaurants, he decided it was his turn to take over the lead. Today Giacomo is still one of the best traditional restaurants you can find in Milan, his kitchen is so refined and very loyal, you can say old school but with the best ingredients and a lot of love and dedication. Italian cuisine as it should be plain and simple.
It is the fish and seasonal products such as Alba truffles and porcini mushrooms that take first place at Giacomo, accompanied with excellent wines.
The atmosphere is perfect just as it should be in a restaurant like this one, it’s not modern, it should not be modern, its classic and it comes straight out of the Italian movie La Vita è Bella from Roberto Benigni. A combination of vibrant colours: classic green walls and printed terracotta tiles on the floor, green plants, wooden tables and white linen tablecloth, bottles of wines stored in the restaurant itself. It’s so authentic, it should not be touched at all!
